We are now over halfway through our "Your Journey to a Job in Australia" program, our comprehensive career program for international students in Melbourne π
We were delighted to run our fourth workshop on 'Your Presenceβ where we covered key tips on building a strong online presence on LinkedIn and a memorable in-person presence at networking events
Here are some of his top tips:
Your LinkedIn is similar to a digital CV - keep it up-to-date and relevant for the roles/industry youβre interested in
Post educational content (i.e. in-depth breakdowns or step-by-step posts) and storytelling content (i.e. wins, failures and learnings)
At networking events, attendees will meet many other people. So how do you stand out? Remember to follow up after the event over email or LinkedIn!

Thank you to everyone for coming to our international student careers fair, βLaunch a Career in Australiaβ - a collaboration between Stint and the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne.
With over 150+ international students attending, the goal of the event was to provide a pathway for international students to learn about eligible employment opportunities, as well as, be inspired by international alumni now working in Australia
